Ansel Adams once said there is nothing worse than a perfect (technically) picture of a fuzzy concept. YouTube, FB, books, etc are replete with technical information (which is important) but it's rare to find anyone who talks about the creative aspects of photography. For me it's the elephant in the room that we as photographers seem to avoid talking about. I once attended a workshop where you weren't allow to ask any technical information about the photographs presented only artistic ones. This was difficult for most participants that were forced to look at the image in terms other than the "technical' aspect of it.
I am curious to know what gets your creative energy flowing? How do you create the image that you do? Do you work in projects or is in subject manner? Do you go out with a purpose (knowing what you are looking for) or are you open to what the environment is giving you? and why are you using a ULF camera for this work?
